As the goddess of love and beauty i feel for Penelope, Odysseus' wife. She had to wait 20 years for just to see Odysseus. She must have really loved him and had faith in him. There was so many suitors that would have made great husbands but she still had faith in him to get home to her and her son. She had delayed the marriage for many years by giving the men many different tasks and things to do before she would marry. I believe that they are truly in love with each other. I think it is very heroic of Odysseus to have killed those men in Penelope's honor. He is a Great warrior and he has a great wife and child and still believe in him for so long. Also i though it was a great thing for him to do is that he took his men from the land of the lotus eaters. That was one of the times when he was truly a great leader. I was surprised when he did not use good judgment when he made the choice to stay and see the cyclops. I personally think that was one of the worst mistakes he could have made. He has many great choices by a leader and many very bad decisions, those made him lose a lot of men which caused his journey to be much harder for him .
